Howdy folks!

The Rockland County Concert Band will once again be organizing the...
Rockland County (NY) TubaChristmas!
Helen Hayes Rehabilitation Hospital (on Route 9W, in West Haverstraw, NY)
Sunday, December 17, 2006

Registration:11:30 am to 12:00 noon
Rehearsal: 12:00-2:00
Break (light snack provided): 2:00-3:00
Concert: 3:00-4:00
This year we are very fortunate to have with us, as our special guest conductor:
Christopher Hall, principal tubist with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra

The Helen Hayes Hospital supports a very successful, varied, free concert series, which is open to the public, and is well attended. The TubaChristmas performance will be in the Main Atrium area, rehearsal is in a separate location within the building. For hospital information & directions see the RCCB web site below.

Here is a picture of the performance space at Helen Hayes Hospital:

If you think you can join us, please let us know (845) 429-1096 (it will really help us in the organizing of the event).

Hope you can make it. Chris is a great guy, and it should be a fun afternoon!

Thanks!

Larry Zaidan

P.S. - As many of you may know, Don Butterfield was involved with making our TubaChristmas events very special, for many years. We will be dedicating this performance to him.

Here is a webpage from the Rockland County Concert Band website, that includes information, and pictures from some of our TubaChristmases past: http://www.rocklandcountyconcertband.or ... istmas.htm There are some great pictures of Don there, and for those of you, who don't know the Helen Hayes Hospital, you will see some more pictures of that venue, as well.

Just a reminder, that it is is tomorrow (Sunday 12/17).

Chris Hall will be our guest conductor, and we will be featuring one of Don's own arrangements, as part of a tribute to him.
