Xmas Music

I was wondering if anyone could give me some good tuba-euph duets or brass quintet music for the holidays. A friend of mine and I are planning on getting some gigs these next few weeks while we are out of school but dont have any music to play. Any suggestions?

Depends what kind of music you're after.
If you want music for a sing-along, then you don't want the fancy settings--just basic 4 part stuff will probably do very well. The Oxford Book of Carols is a comprehensive reference on the subject and contains many SATB settings for more carols than you'll know in your lifetime.
For quintet:
The Richard Price Christmas Carol book is a good start. The Wilfred Bob Roberts setting of "Silent Night" is very good. I think Joe S. has mentioned that the Morley Calvert "Suite from the Monteregian Hills" is based on French Canadian Christmas carols. Art Frackenpohl has "A Christmas Jazz Suite", "Let it Snow" and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer". The John Iveson "A Carol Fantasy" and "Christmas Crackers" and Bill Rose's arrangement of a Daquin Noel are pretty good.
Charlie Petersen has some very nice jazz charts on his trumpettunes.com web site ('Santa Claus is Coming to Town" is a lot of fun).
There are probably a few thousand more good charts--there is a huge amount of Christmas music out there.

A guy by the name of Gary Slechta (3rd trumpet in Austin Symphony) has done a whole bunch of really great arrangements in all different styles. These are definitely college-level and above arrangements. They are not easy, but VERY entertaining.

I've performed these arrangements with Dennis. These are really great, folks. Perfect for any church setting.

Not directly related but close...
Isn't there a pretty famous group of Christmas songs arranged for big jazz band? I heard two of them two years ago and loved them, but I can't remember who the arranger was!
Anybody know what I'm talking about?
