If you can't find something labelled Alexander, there is always Doug Elliott. He can provide you with his shallow J or L cup, the rim of your choice, and an A or A+ shank, which is designed for old Alex receivers.

Old Alexander mouthpieces are roughly shaped like a Miraphone C4 on the inside, only SMALLER. I've heard that they actually make the intonation of Alexanders better.

When I bought my Alex F 3 years ago, they had included a JK mouthpiece that they had matched with the horn. Unfortunately it was a 7A (very narrow and very deep). Having the feeling of a large bassbone piece it was preety much unplayable. What were they thinking? Perhaps trying to throw one in that they had a surplus of for some reason...

Lee Stofer had some Alexander mouthpieces in a couple years ago. I just ordered a Laskey 30G Euro shank from Dillon for my Alexander (which I'm actually about to post for sale). I'll post an update once I get it...jobey
