Would any modern Sousa Neck & Bits fit an old ('30s) York Eb Sousa?
Are all York Necks/Bits the same size?
Anyone got any they'd part with??
Cheers.

The popular thing is to replace the upper neckpipe receiver with a Conn one and use a Conn neck & bits.

The neck on my York Sousa is very large compared to King and Conn necks. It is about 6 inches tall and 8 inches long. I only need to use one bit to get it to line up to my mouth.
I used to have a king neck on it before I found a York neck (on ebay of all places) but i needed 4 bits to get it to line up properly.
My sousa is a BBb but I had an Eb twin to this horn, which had the same valve, neck and bell configuration. It was a large Eb with a separate should piece, so the wrap did not go all the way around the body. It actually looked like the BBb tuba.
