TubeNet

I was looking at the recital list that Mr Pokorny performed the other day and saw that he played a "Tuba Concerto" by Barry McKimm. I played a piece entitled Serenade by McKimm this past year in UK's Tuba/Euph ensemble that was absolutely beautiful. So when I saw that Gene played a Concerto by him it got me thinking. So I started to look up other works as well. I found a Concerto for Contrabass Tuba but no Concerto for Tuba. Could this be the same piece? Where can I find these piece or pieces? Thanks to anyone that can help!

I dont remember it been for CC tuba. I have only ever seen it performed on F/Eb tuba, as it is rather high sometimes. Great piece though...

you can order the piece from them and they have 2 refence recordings, but I think you have to go to their library in Australia. You might be able to beg them for a copy of those performances. They were very helpful and nice when I delt with them.
