My 14-month old twin daughters "playing" the barit

Here's a little holiday funny for everyone. I've been playing childrens' songs on my little antique baritone horn for my 14-month old twins, and they figured out pretty quickly that buzzing their lips is an essential skill. They now go into the family room, point to the antique horn mounted on the wall, and start buzzing their little chops with mucho gusto. Today my wife got out the video camera, we got out the horn, and the kids went nuts. The video of them "playing" just cracks us both up.

We posted the video on YouTube:

We're calling the instrument a tuba with the girls, since it's tuba-sized to a little kid and daddy plays the tuba. Technically, it *is* a tenor tuba. :-)

Enjoy!

Splendid! Doubly so! Just wait until they each want their own mouthpiece!

Looks like they were really having a ball. The next generation of tuba players is definitely warming up in the wings!

Really cute twins. Congratulations.

That's just awesome, Rod. Pricelessly adorable! We have a baby girl due in March, so I guess I'd better get my act together and buy me a baritone!!
