TubeNet

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra was THE place to be this evening in the Indy area. Among other things, they presented "Tubby The Tuba" featuring our own Tony Kniffen who gave a flawless performance. Tony not only played beautifully, but also provided suitable antics and facial expressions as well. And not to be out done, he shared with us his trained singing voice to make the event truely unique.
With astronaut David Wolf appearing on stage in his blue NASA jumpsuit/flightsuit to provide the narration for "Tubby", he made the event "out of this world" (C'mon...What else could I say.)

Tony is an exceptional tubist. I heard him play an impressive recital several years ago. Quite a number of challenging pieces -- all of them played flawlessly.
