Baltimore Brass might be able to order one as they seem quite MW friendly...

No doubt Baltimore Brass could order one. Also Dillons, and Roger Lewis has just left WWBW and opened a business called Tubadome, in Elkhart. Roger has a tuba posted for sale right now. Check out that thread for more info.

Actually, Mr. Fedderly has one in his shop right now (as of Dec. 28) but it is his on trial. He told me it was the second or third handmade instrument in the US. Wonderful instrument! Had a tag of 22k on it... Really quite impressive.

He was/ is???
he is a meinl guy now, he plays the 6450 in the orchestra, but I'm not sure what F he is on. When he came to Atlanta a little while back, he was still playing the firebird and recommending to folks that they try/ but the 1292. He still has both listed on his website under the links section.
