How is the fit of the Protec and Tuxedo bags for the PT6?

I would stay away from the Pro-Tec - it fits pretty loose, and well - my tuba got WAY too many dents during its time in its Pro-Tec gig bag - I tried to sell it here for $25 in great condition and no one was interested, so it ended up in the dumpster in Tucson - thats what I thought of it...I put mine in an Altieri and its had significantly less damage - and fits much, much better.
Okay, I'm done bitching - some may love the Pro-Tec - didn't fit the PT-6 well and the horn looks like it.
I had Tuexedo for a long time for another horn - worked really well - one person in the studio here has their 6 in a Tuxedo - fits snugly - but well - may be a good option.

Hey,
I had a tuxedo bag and it sat really low on my back and I have a bit of a lower back problem, so I got rid of it and got a soundwear.

Heather,
what size Tuxedo bag do they have? The 22"model? I like the thought and design of the SoundWear bags but they look HUGE and bulky. Is my preception incorrect? Surely it must be heavier than a regular Altieri or Tuxedo.
p.s. no teasing with hugs and kisses from GA
no offense

No offense taken. I will say that this is not my first bag purchase and I will be using it for specific purposes.

Also, my concerns were with bulkiness, not cost.

James,
I'm also in the market for a Gig Bag. Here's a link to that discussion. Hope you find it useful.
