The sheet music is fairly close to what he plays, however you'll have to do some recording study if you intend on playing like he does. He adds some falsetti and glisses that aren't notated.

Believe me. I would have to do more than that to play it like he does.

His version is in a very wierd key. I found a euphonium arrangement that works better for me, and costs much less. (I still have a long way to go on it, though!)

Perhaps some of you Eb specialists might want to tell us why Patrick chose that key?

What's wrong with the key? It sits great! (on an Eefer). Also, there is two printed versions of his, one for Eb and one for F, which one are you talking about?


What key is this euphonium version you speak of?

His sounds like a bumblebee. Mine sounds like a prayer. Praying I get thru it. (specifically the b section that is on high Eb)

I don't do that. I wouldn't be asking that much on here either, it is a very sticky subject. Musicians are generally poor, and that money on that sheet music goes towards them making a living.

The poor take from the poorer in the music world, and that's the way it has to stay for musical, legal, and moral reasons.

That is, unless you're talking about one of the extremely wealthy people that can't sing worth a crap *cough, cough, Brittney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Jessie McCartney,etc...cough,cough*

You can order/find the piece through Southern Music. They have it in Eb and F.
