Calling all Washington, Oregon, and Idaho tuba and euphonium players. Below is the final schedule and room assignments for the 2nd annual Northwest Intercollegiate Tuba/Euphonium Symposium at the University of Washington.
9-10:30 AM Pete Link Group Warmup and Masterclass #1
11-12 PM Masterclass #2, Devin Otto
Practice Strategies, Mental and Physical
12-1 PM Faculty Panel Discussion

1-2 PM Lunch
2-3 PM Student recital
3:30-4:30 PM Masterclass #3, Curtis Peacock
Jazz fundamentals
4:30-7:15 PM Dinner
7:30-9:30 PM Faculty Recital
All morning classes will be in the Music Building room 35. All afternoon and evening events will be in Kane Hall Auditorium room 220. The performers on the evening faculty recital will be Devin Otto, Eastern Washington University, Curtis Peacock, Central Washington University, Paul Evans, Pacific Lutheran University, Chris Olka, University of Washington, and our guest artist, Pete Link.
This is shaping up to be a great day and it is FREE TO THE PUBLIC. Everyone is encouraged to bring their horn for the morning warmup session and then bring some really good questions for the panel discussion.
