I am getting ready for my senior recital and would like to get some suggestions for programming. I am most interested in finding a tuba duet or two to play with my professor. I am looking for something like Pat Sheridan and Sam Pilafian played on "Dos Amigos"...any ideas???

I don't know anything about the one you listed, but I ran through this (the Bouree at the bottom of the page) with my friend last night. It wasn't quite a crash and burn (next time we'll try euph and bass!), but it didn't go so hot either. We did finish together, but we also had to take it somewhat slower.
Hey, if nothing else it's free!
Please help me understand this. "Goldenmoose" has asked for programming suggestions for a recital. Are you suggesting he do something that will crash and burn. And is it alright just as long as they finish together. I have a feeling this will not be satisfactory to any of the people involved in the recital. What do you think?

If that isn't what you meant, then just what are you trying to say? :?

You can have a listen to see if they are something you'd be interested in.

Good luck!

I believe there is a book of tuba duets by Jim Self. I don't remember the title, but there were a few in there that were really sweet!
