help finding a picture in a thread.

A friend and i were talking about large tubas today and I recalled seeing a picture of an absolutely massive horn (not a sub contra) I believe it was the RM 7/4. in the picture the horn was compared to a st pete 201, and utterly dwarfed it. Any help with a link to this thread/pic if anyone knows what I'm talking about would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys

Look through this thread (Most Beautiful Tuba?). There is a RM 7/4 pictured, but by itself, no St. Pete.

I don't recall thread in which this pic appeared. It's clearly not the horn you seek, but it deserves a 2nd round of viewing, I think. I was so impressed with it, I snagged a copy of it.

What on earth is holding that thing up? The angle and size of the horn makes it look like it should just fall right over, pushing the chair aside. Is it superglued onto that little stool?
That top bow still looks smaller than my Yorkbrunner. Shrimp.

My arm was wrapped over the edge of the bell a bit, so I was actually kinda supporting it. That angle is about where the weight centered, though, so it wasn't difficult to keep in position.
Yeah, it was fairly normal size-wise until you got to that bottom bow and then the bell. That's where someone got into the cheap drugs and lost their mind.
Purely for shock value at that size, as it sure didn't play worth a s***...

OK, if that one is not big enough through the top and bottom bows, how about this one?
The bows on this one are not "regular" in size.
And if THAT is not big enough you can gander at this one. It appears to have 4 rotory valves.

I wonder what ever happened to those monster instruments. It's not like they can be hidden away in somebody's closet so easily.
