I recently aquired a broken silent brass system. I think the mic is busted but am not really sure. Anyone have any ideas where one could get one fixed in MI without sending it away and spending a lot of $?

If you suspect the mic is the problem, a trip to a local electronic repair shop sould confirm (or deny) your suspicions. If it's something else, call the manufacturer and ask. Good luck!
