I need to know the weight of a Mirafone 186 including the stock case. 16.5 or 17.5 probably won't matter.

Hey! Quit schlepping that horn around on your back and get yourself a shopping cart like the one our grandmas used to take to the market. I bought mine on that popular auction for less than $30. I figure the cart has already saved me a fortune on Ibuprofen... not to mention the damage the horn might have gotten from getting banged into door jambs, etc!

Two of our tuba players also use rolling laundry carts to haul their stuff.

I have two young nephews I'm planning on using as porters. I might even get them some little uniforms... ;)

There is no stock case unless you narrow it down to a relatively short period.

My BBb 186-4U weighs 18 pounds by itself.

Rick "thinking the case could be anywhere from 20 pounds to 75 pounds" Denney

My 186 is at least four pounds heavier than my friend's 186. He said, "Woah! this is heavy" when I handed him my horn.
