Someone with a TUBA SOURCE Book Needed

Hello,

I need some assistance looking up an entry in the TUBA Source book. My copy has been packed by the movers and aleady in my new home, could someone look this up and either post or PM me what it says?

Down in the Deep Cellar, for tuba and band, by F. Kroepsch.

In a previous post, I asked for the band parts. Those have been located and I will hopefully be performing this 1898 solo as my Swan Song in May with the Navy Band.

I am just looking to see what information or insight about the piece is listed in the book.

Thank You for your assistance.

Sadly, the TSB isn't very much help:

Down in the Deep Cellar-Grand Fantasia. Arranged by L.P. Laurendeau. Carl Fischer, Inc. Out of print. Solo tuba (or clarinet, cornet, trombone, baritone) and band (solo tuba with brass quintet and solo tuba and piano also available). 1908. 6:45. IV Eb1 - g'.

A traditional yet technically demanding work for the solo tubist.

This is the entry under tuba and band. Under tuba and piano there is the additional information:

See review in T.U.B.A. Journal, Vol. 9, no. 3, p. 26

Sorry it wasn't more helpful!

Incidentally, if you compare the tuba solo part with the solo part on the piano score, you notice the tuba solo is simplified to the max.
