Can anyone tell me where to get some? Or can someone pdf some parts for me (esp Rite of Spring). I have the Gordan Cherry thingy which has some of the ring stuff (haven't really looked at it yet) but would love to get my hands on the Janacek Sinfonetta and whatever else is out there.
Thanks,
Bill
yep, I bought a bass trumpet
(I'm a dork)

The Ken Shifrin Ochestral Excerpts for Euphonium and Bass Trumpet is the best resource I know of. It is not published very widely. It also has complete transposed euphonium parts for Don Quixote and Ein Heldenleben.

it is number VO87

Yeah,
I now have a bizzarsenal.

in addition to the tubas, sousaphone, trombones and euph that I have, I also have the bass trumpet, a Miraphone tenor tuba, and I now have a Serpent (wow, I'm officially nuts). Now I just have to get paid to play these (so I can justify that fact that I bought them).

Hey,
Pretty good, when you get to the 4+ whatever combinations it backs up a little bit (not too bad) but the fundamental on down is real good. And I got lucky too, the intonation on any bass trumpet is REAL funky, but this has a main tuning slide kicker on it, so now I can only blame myself for intonation.

Who is Mike Suter?
I'm hoping on getting a Kanstul contra soon and a larger bore might be good.
Cool,
