Talking about valve sets...

One example of the advantage of having the same type valve sets:
I'm playing the Tannhauser Overture and Mahler 5.

So I decided to play Wagner on my F for the right sound. The damn nylon valve guide on my 45SLP is getting worn and my 3rd valve now sticks once in a while. That happened yesterday at the rehearsal.

My buddy John (bass trombone) couldn't believe his eyes when, in the bars rest after (A), I took the 3rd valve out of my PT-20P and replace the faulty valve in the 45SLP.

Saved the day!
