Hello.

My CD project has been completed and is now available. It is entitled American Music for Tuba... Something Old, Something New. It features works that have either never been recorded or have not been available in digital format. The program looks like this:

Sonata for Tuba and Piano- John Cheetham
Serenade No. 12- Vincent Persichetti
Diversve Elements fopr Euphonium, Tuba and Piano- David Gillingham
Sonata no. 1 for Tuba and Piano- Walter Hartley
Tuba Concerto- James Woodward

The Woodward was recorded with the UGA Wind Ensemble and the euphonium player on the Gillingham is yours truly.

The disc is published by Mark Records and can be acquired directly through me by sending $15 per CD to:

David Zerkel

If you have any questions, please don't heistate to contact me!

Best regards,

I just got my copy of this CD in the mail today. All I can say is WOW. What great CD! Not only does he perform all orginial literature for the tuba, but he plays it with style and finesse(sp). I highly recommend for everyone to get this CD. Great job Dave!!
