Nat Macintosh (the dude from Sotto Voce) But he has left "to purse other things" so now they have an opening. Big shoes to fill.

Yup, no kidding.

I've only seen them live once, and they're quite a kick. Who'da thunk that a bunch of white guys from Madison could kick so much butt at Mardi Gras.

Nat studied tuba with John Stevens. When he performed for Roger Bobo in a Master Class at the ITEC in Minneapolis, he sounded great playing straight-ahead classical music.

Steve is right- on that occasion Nat played the first mvnt. of the John Williams concerto on his 4/4-5/4 Schilke thingamabob. He can play, no doubt.
