For all of you who have your own websites, is it illegal/frowned upon to post up mp3 performances of other people's works? I can't seem to find anything on the copyright website about it.

without their permision yes, or at least i would be extremely mad/upset, but i would ask for permision before you did that just to cover your butt, and if you did ask make sure you get it signed and then put at the bottom taht you got permision so no one tries to come after you
