The previous thread initiated to reveal a more or less dubious on-line presentation of music related goods had an, at best, very slim point. The thread took a quite humorous turn, but apparently the original poster didn't take the hint.

As a consumer politician I am all pro the airing of bad business conduct, when I find it.

But I am not totally convinced, that the tuba community is well served by a systematic hunting for very small and very unclear cases.

However, the page linked to would be illegal in my country for one simple reason:

The page default adds a supplementary item, a mouthpiece pouch, thereby adding about 150% to the original deal.

To the boot the pouch is not listed as a separate item on the shopping-cart-list cum invoice.

I don't find this practise "fint i kanten" (roughly translates to "kosher").

And I find it odd that a company dealing with items in the 5 digit US$ area will at all try to slide its way into an extra deal worth only less than US$10.

WHO CARES!!?? I don't know Tuba Echange from Adam but I think if you have issues with them you (and others who continue to bash them publicly) should take your issues directly to them. If you think their business practices aren't 'on the level', you should contact the Attorney General in their state and file a complaint.

I agree with your sentiment, but for the sake of accuracy, he has issues with Custom Music NOT the Tuba Exchange.

Sorry. I knew that and just stupidly typed in the wrong info. Sorry Tuba Exchange.

In my language "Spring!" means "Take the jump!".

Got the hint?

I'd really like to know

Perhaps it should read "lacquer is finished"
Looks like there might be a bit of lacquer left on the bell...
