Seems like a slow period here on the tubenet so,do you guys struggle to find trumpet players who want to do wedding gigs?Ours make so much for less work doing trumpet and organ gigs that they're not very interested in doing quintet gigs.Can't blame them,of course,but that does make it hard for our group to do weddings.We happened to get a gig for june 2.It's ITG weekend and the only person not going to the conference had 3 solo wedding gigs that day ! Just plain greedy We finally got a college teacher and his grad student from 4 hrs away...
