Does anyone know a decent website for determining the instruments called for in a given piece of Orchestral music? My Orchestra just published their 2007 / 2008 schedule and frankly, I'm thinking there's no tuba on 4 of the 6 concerts, but I want to be sure before I flip these guys the bird.

You can check the Kalmus or Lucks website if it is fairly standard stuff (type in what you are playing in the library search like you were going to buy it) or you can drop @$70 and get the David Daniel book "Orchestra Music" which has the instrumentation and timing for the vast majority of music performed today.

Go online and order a paper catalog from Edwin F. Kalmus. Browse through the pages of professional orchestral compositions and, with a yellow highlighter, draw a line through all the pieces that call for tuba. This is better than the Internet. And it's free, too!
