Great work, big blow, your CC will be perfect. Hard to get a part, but I believe that Dover sells the score. Check their website. Congrats, it is a nice work that doesn't get performed often due to its big orchestra and chorus+soloists. I don't remember well enough to say about any technically difficult passages, but there are some tremendously BIG blows in it.

Symphonies No 1 and 2 are on the Cherry CD and Symphonies 1 - 3 are on Volume 8 of The Orchestra Musician's CD-ROM Library. You can also get the part from Kalmus for a few dollars.

Your CC tuba will work beautifully. There is a soli in the 3rd movement with the basses that is somewhat exposed that, if my memroy serves me correctly, takes you up to Bb just above the staff. There is also some low register work in the first and second movements. It is a great piece.

Best Wishes.
