Everyone else on this forum probably has heard this CD till they are sick of it but I just found a copy in a used CD store: Dallas Wind Symphony/Fennell 1993. This may be the best low brass section I've ever heard. Bass trombone, Robert Lawless; Euphs, Jimmy Clark and Marta O'Campo; Tubas, Alex Cauthen and Edward Jones. The sound is incredible, especially on the Dello Joio. If you guys are listening.......Thanks!

if you like that one, you should check out Pomp and Pipes, or the Ron Nelson cd. Both are great additions to anybody's library.

They are every bit as excellent, but I didn't think anyone would be that interested on this forum. Bruce Blomquist, Michael Harp and Michael Purdy. I haven't played or heard any of these pieces since the mid sixties. It was "chill bump" time at my house last night. My wife thinks I am crazy. She's probably right.
