Music Stores near LA

I am going to visit my brother in LA in August and am goign to have soem time to kill while he's at work, I was wondering if anyone from around there or someone familiar with the area knew of any cool music shops I could check out around there.

The term "LA" covers a very, very large area and if you're going anywhere in So-Cal you can say you're going to LA and no one will question you... So having said that, where exactly are you going in "LA"???

I am going to be right in the middle of hollywood...however I don't mind travellign a little bit. Whiel my brother is at work I will have some time to kill

Not exactly LA, but within spitting distance of DIsneyland, the Kanstul factory showroom. Nice people.

There's also Anaheim Band Instrument Co. which, I believe is located in . . . umm . . . Anaheim.
