Tuba Trumpet Duets

Do you know of any duets written for trumpet and tuba? I've got a trumpet player buddy and he and I are starting to get calls to play little local stuff, but are running into some troubles finding music as I don't transpose on sight yet (Bb trumpet music to my Eb tuba). I'm working on transposing, but would also like to find out if there is any decent music specifically written for this duet combo.
Hopefully soon we'll find the other players for the quartet/quintet that we'd like to get together. Got the horn player, but need another tpt and a trombone.

Walter Hartley wrote a duet for that instrumentation.
You may also want to look at transcribing a trumpet duet or a violin/cello duet.

Art Frackenpohl wrote a really nice Duet for Tuba,Trumpet, and Piano (I guess that makes it a trio). Comfortable range and very fun. I am not sure if it is still in print. Good Luck.

With the 983, have you mastered the "pretend it's bass clef" skill?
I get that reading the treble clef as bass clef with an eb part but can it be done if the treble clef is written as a Bb part? I play brass bands and am a music teacher so I'm getting better at reading the different parts, but I've only had my 983 for a couple of weeks never having played an Eb before this so still trying to figure out all the transposition stuff with treble clef.
Thanks.
