Another software question
Does anybody know of a program that will convert mp3's to MIDI?
SD
I am convinced that 90% of the problems with rhythm, tone, intonation, articulation, technique, and overall prowess on the horn are related to air issues.

Yes, but you may not be very happy with the results unless you're converting just one or two voices.
Here's one available in a trial version:
http://www.mp3towav.org/TS-AudioToMIDI/
Basically, they all work the same way--any tone sounding above a certain level is converted to a MIDI sequence. The problem comes in with things such as multiple voices, reverb and percussion--any of which can render an MP3 as senseless MIDI hash.
