ok, today i was up in our high school band's storage room. theres three old fiberglass souaphones that have been there for many years. two of them are..in various 'pieces'. but, one is pretty good. its an olds. all it loked like was wrong were a few braces were loose. but upon further inspection, i found a good size tear in the brass of the valve section right before it is conected to the fiberglass. I pulled a valve section off of another horn that (with some tweaking) should fit. I was wondering what you would advise in my situation. I can either pull the origanal valve section and replace it or use the 'donar' valve section for spare tubeing and just fix the origanal. but, i dont know how to fix fiber glass. its just a fun project, but if it works and is any good, id like to replace our current fiberglass sousapone with it. So, yeah any advise would be welcome.
