I have an old king sousaphone in my inventory with the gold tint on the inside of the bell. It looks great but I'd like it to match the other two sousas. (black and red uniforms with the silver horns)
Is there a way to polish this out, make it less noticeable? Is it too much work and time to just find a trade? It is a favorite of some of the students (not the tuba players) because of the bell.
Thanks

When I say "some students", I refer to a goofy trombone player I refer to as "Funky" off of Funky Winkerbean funnies. I'm going to keep it as is anyway.
This sousa has seen many decades pass by in it's lifetime so a total replacement may be in the works in a few years. I've already sent the thing to the shop to have braces resoldered the past two summers.
