Wayne,

I have an early '20s Frank Holton Eb and it looks very similar. The valve/slide section looks exactly alike except my main tuning slide has a middle section that can be removed/added for either high or low pitch. Your neck is different and your horn over all looks like a 3/4 version of mine.

Strange how Wayne failed to center those in his pics.

I'm trying do decide if my Frank raincatcher Serial#4941 is a sibling. At least the valve section seems similar.

Wasn't Harry B. Jay the brand trumpet on which Louis Armstrong played for most of his career?

I thought he played a Selmer.

I should have been more clear. He played many horns throughout his career. One of them happened to be a Jay.
I see. I just remember seeing a shot of him with a Selmer, and that's what stuck in my head. :) 8)
