Meinl 33 CC

Anyone have a picture of a Meinl 33 CC tuba? A front and back shot would be helpful. You can email images directly to me at dschultz@sigecom.net
I haven't, either. But, that's what the seller said it is. It's a five-rotor horn with a detachable upright bell. He mentioned that the bell-front version is a Meinl 32. It's a basket case and it would be nice to see what the 4th rotor wrap looks like.bort wrote:Never heard of the model 33...what was (is?) it?
Looks familiar except mine has a detachable bell. Now... turn it around so I can see the 4th wrap!Scooby Tuba wrote:This is a 32:
Semi basket case. The bugle is intact. The valve section is complete except for the 4th valve wrap and some of the linkage. Parts are there... but a picture would be helpful to aid reassembly of that 4th wrap. Perhaps it's like the Meinl 25 and all the slides are on the front at the top. ??bttmbow wrote:Is "it" a basket case, or is "he"?
Excellent information. Thanks! Based on what I see, the horn I have is 99.9% likely a model 33. Now.... how about that picture of the backside that shows the 4th valve wrap?Ed Jones wrote:Meinl Weston CC tuba model numbers:

Detatchable bells were designated U (upright) or R (recording). This is from a late 1960's MW catalog that I have laying around somewhere.
I did not receive anything from you. Try it again.... dschultz@sigecom.netAllen wrote:Pictures available. Email sent. Allen
