Question for Neptune

I know that you are a regular concert goer in London. Did you ever hear Chris McShane when he was with the RPO ?
What was that section like with Derek James & Roger Argente ( we are talking late 80s/90s here ) You don't tend to hear much about him these days.

Most of concerts I attended were at the Royal Festival Hall, so I mostly heard the Philharmonia (John Jenkins) and LPO (Owen Slade), but did occasionally get to hear Chris McShane and the RPO. I thought them a good team. I think they are best heard on the now discontinued Tring Recordings - some good performances there.
