I studied with him one summer at the ASU summer horizons session. Great teacher, really nice guy.
Didn't he also play in Ringing Bros. circus? I think I remember him telling me things about it.

I took lessons with him for three years and I learned a lot about him but never heard him play. He was in the NC symphony and the Charlotte Symphony when he was 16 years old. He did play circus gigs when they still hired local musicians. He went to peabody but I don't remember if he graduated. He has taught at several different colleges and high schools in NC. Plus he is one of the nicest people I have ever met.
