ARMY ad: who wrote the music?

Post by jon112780 »

I see that the recruitment ads for all branches of the service are becoming more interesting and the music better. Anybody know who wrote it? Anybody here on TubeNet record it in the studio (long shot) ???

I thought it was kind nice to open with a shot of 'The Big Red One'. Quite some history there.

You can bag on the piece if you want, but what should really be noted is that they used a full union orchestra to record the jingle. No synthesizers (except maybe some synth percussion). In this day and age, that is something that should really be applauded.
Why a union orchestra? Last I checked, the Army had their orchestra in DC.
