Has anyone seen Nessun Dorma as a tuba solo?

Play it as written or down an octave should work fine!

I remember seeing a clip of a fellow playing this on YouTube, but a quick search was not fruitful. Maybe he removed it.

Tim Northcut recorded a version for tuba and band on his Tennessee Tech Pride Cd. He sounds great on it. I do not have it handy or else I would tell you who did the arrangement, etc.

I have an arrangement for both band and Brass Band. The solo part is in the original key. The band arrangement is up a half-step from the original because the high school band I wrote it for didn't like (or better--RECOGNIZE) sharps.

There is a great point by Arnold Jacobs on this on track number six about this. He talks about reading parts for other instruments or famous arias. Check it out, this is very relevant to your question.
