So back in May I went to hear the CSO do Bruckner 7 with Haitink. They were recording the live concerts for this album. It was pretty fantastic. I remember the Wagner tuben stuff being particularly awesome.

($.02 comment coming...)

It was the best live performance of this I've ever heard. The brass section was incredible and they seemed so relaxed. The blend alone was worth the price of admission, so great, really enjoyed it if you can't tell.

Got an email today about it being available ....it's only $7.99 at iTunes

...I bought it.

Funny you mentioned that, I was on my way home last night and caught the 4th movement of that performance on our local classical station. I'm going to have to check that out on itunes. It was good!
