I ordered this euphonium stand from Pro Winds ( https://www.prowinds.com/merchantmanager/index.php) and it came today . It's the sturdiest dang stand I have ever seen ! It's shipping weight is 12.5 pounds and for a very good reason .It' solid as a rock and just as heavy. When shopping around for a stand my biggest concern was would the stand stay sturdy on a carpeted floor while holding my euphonium with the practice mute in it . I have no doubt about it doing the job .

Resting stand, playing stand, or both?

If for playing: Does it fit with all of the known valve configurations?

I use this strictly at home . I leave my horn on at all times and have it next to me when I practice so I don't have to put my horn on the floor when I need to set it aside for a minute .
