Big sound, but crystal clear.
Plays ppppppp to fffffff without losing any tonal quality on either end.
Every note from double pedal CC to C above middle C within 5 cents of equal temperament.
Comfortable to hold and play for hours on end.
Fast, quiet valves that never stick under normal maintenance.
Mouthpiece receiver that actually fits a known production shank size without issue.
Has a finish that will not wear off for decades.
plus
Ergonomic bag that offers outstanding protection at a modest weight.
Notice, that I did NOT say piston/rotor, silver/gold/lacquer, american/euro shank, etc.
(I didn't even specify a key.)
IMHO, the handmade Baer probably comes closer to meeting much of this criteria than any other horn out there at the present.
FWIW, most of this criteria could be met under the tutelage of a good teacher and several hours practice daily on any decent horn, coupled with occasional visits to a repairman skilled in low brass.

One made of solid limestone and a neural interface so I can control it with my mind.
It must also come with a monkey.

Handmade 5/4 CC 5 valve Sousaphone made entirely of titanium that played as well as my sit down horn and weighed less than my Fiberglass Sousaphone.
It would also have a discreet, detachable, insulated bladder assembly which could store hot coffee or cold Gatorade. The drink would flow through a hose similar to a Camelback and terminate unnoticeably at the same location as the mouthpiece for clandestine drinking during jobs.
Also standard would be a heads up display, unnoticeable to forward observers, which projected cable TV during long speeches. This display could, in emergencies, bring up any "memorized" march out of the library. The TV sound would be heard via a minuscule bluetooth earbud which hides in one ear and also functions as a 20db cut hearing protection to block out canon and rifle fire.

For what I play, I own them already.

Small size yet big sound. Since I play trumpet, perhaps CC although I'm getting the hang of BBb. Maybe a Piggy? Then spend the rest on lessons and maybe do the mouthpiece dance until I get it right (settle on the one the horn came with).
Or try a Norwegian Star and see what it's like. From what I've read and heard, I should try one out before spending someone's money on a horn.

My dream tuba would be, well, anything, as long it was a decent price, and at least 4 valves. However, I do have a soft spot for a late '70's- early '80's Miraphone 188.

Coffee? Gatorade? What would your mates think?

1. Weight of a clarinet.
2. Intonation of a piano.
3. Collapsible like a top hat.
4. That neural net thing.
. . . but I'd take this in a pinch:

a Baer handmade tuba, just so I could sell it and buy 2-3 horns that I ACTUALLY want/need like a mirafone 186-5UCC. I played one and really didn't like it that much (of course i'd take it over the school's yamaha any day!)

A very nice BBb tuba. Perhaps a 1291, 191 or maybe a Fafner.
**edit** Doesn't matter what it is, it just has to play like nobody's business. Hopefully built lovingly by skilled hands.
For the market price on clams:

It must have a very, very in-tune scale from top to bottom and must be easy to hold. It must weigh under 30 pounds. It must not be made by B&S/PT. It must sound like an Alexander, but with a quick mouthpiece change be able to sound like a really good Holton 345.
You
did say a dream horn. Well, there you go …

Damn.
I want one too.

A horn that sounds like my Marzan, but the size of a pocket trumpet.
