Gregson Orchestration

Post by jdicesar »

Hello,

I am auditioning for a concerto competition in our school this year. I am playing the Gregson and my professor requires a full orchestration list because we do not have the parts. Any idea where I can get this? Or can anyone with the score let me know what exactly it is orchestrated for?

Thanks in advance,
John

Solo tuba+ 2222/4230/timp 2perc/str

That is...

Winds: 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons
Brass: 4 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones, no tuba
Percussion: Timpani + 2
Strings: (this number varies) with 2222 4230, a "chamber orchestra" string count of 64432 would work nicely. That would be 6 first violins, 4 second violins, 4 violas, 3 cello, 2 bass.
