I may be mistaken, but i remember flipping through the Arban for tuba, which I think is for a CC instrument, and not finding Carnival of Venice in the back. Is that right?

Hey Doc,

Many still do, but remember it is written for Bb-based overtone series. I use it with my trombone, euph and tuba students (using BBb). The tpt one works great for CC. If you have the $ to burn, I guess the tuba one makes sense -- perhaps. I have it, but still wind up using the tpt one more often than not. My CC students are instructed to get the tpt one (reading TC is a useful skill at that level.)

I've only known tuba players to buy the trombone and the trumpet book...I personally own the trombone book.

A fair number of us buy and use the trumpet book. It's useful to read treble clef fluently, especially if you're in a traditional brass band.
