My 20J before-after

this is what it looked like when we got it..just polished it up and it looked brand new.. i had the bell converted to an upright bell by Borodi Music in Ohio. They did a wonderful job

they made a custom piece and soldered it on..and plated it. you can't even tell except there's a small line in the back where the piece over laps itself..but not very noticable

Many people use a stand with a horn like a 20J. Using one (or two) tuning bits allows the player to sit to one side a little more and move for best vision.

I think that IS the original bell.
And, yes, the 21 was the upright bell, isn't that correct?? Inn a lot of ways, they're totally different instruments.
Regardless...GREAT looking 20J!!!

Thanks!! it took about 2 grand to get it this way, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. But yes that is the original bell..they only cut off the curved piece attached to it. i think i still have that piece laying around somewhere
