Thank you, any more stores that anyone knows of?

By the way, the concert is at the UN at 28 Jan (monday i believe) and will be played by the music academy of Tel Aviv Symphony orchestra and conducted by Zubin Mehta, the program will be Beethoven 5th, Paul Ben Haim Tehilim and Bruch's Kol Nidrei

Their website has directions (from different directions/methods) that you can consult/print out. Also contact numbers, the best people to check with would be them!

Hey Nimrod, I think I may be able to help you out...I live in New Jersey 15 minutes west of NYC and I may be able to meet up with you to DRIVE/TAKE you to Dillon's Music during your time here.

Usually I feel I don't know enough about NYC to help out visitors but I do know NJ well enough to help this time. We could also go to West 48th street in Manhattan, there are a bunch of music shops on the same block and some of them have tubas. None have Dillon's selection, but the horns were different both times I've been to them, so someone is buying and selling tubas there. So even if we don't meet up, you should check out W 48th Street.

E-mail me please so that we can discuss your trip more.
