I am wanting to know where you are attending college and what year you are in. If you are starting college this month feel free to comment as to where you are attending. Just trying to get an idea of how many students from what schools use this message board. And also who the teachers are at those school. Not a scientific survey, but I would like to get an accurate idea.

5th yr. Senior
University of Southern Mississippi
student of Dr. Richard Perry

I will be a 5th year senior (performance) at the University of Minnesota this fall. Previously, I have studied with Ross Tolbert (MN orchestra), but he is retiring. David Werden will be the tuba and euphonium instructor starting this fall. The studio class is done by Tom Ashworth (trombone prof), who I've also learned quite a bit from.

Also, the reason for the 5th year is that I spent last year attending the University of Northern Colorado through the National Student Exchange (NSE) program. At UNC, my teachers were Jason Byrnes (tuba) and Dana Landry (jazz).l

I go to the University of Central Florida in Orlando. I study with Gail Robertson, Claude Kashnig, and Jay Hunsberger. It is not the greatest music school, but living in Orlando allows me to play at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.
