Schumann-no tuba
Khachaturian- some long, fast repetitious sections; percussive non lyrical playing from what I can remember, nothing terribly difficult.

I recently took the tuba part in Sibelius Lemminkainen's return with Nottingham Symphony Orchestra
www.wbford.fsnet.co.uk
It’s not technically challenging but as it is Sibelius particular attention is required to the quality and control of the low brass sound.

...unless you're playing the solo part--on tuba.
I'd love to hear Carol's performance of the entire Khachaturian Concerto.
