Can any of you Eupher pickers suggest a few good solos for an intermediate high schooler? Not too rangy, and middling in the technique. Thanks in advance.

How about, "Rhapsody for Euphonium" by James Curnow. There are quite a few clips on 'YouTube'... some good, some not so good.

Not sure if you're looking for solo with band or piano, but both are available.

Dear Chuck,

I the last couple of years, we have published a bunch of new charts from Dave Werden and Ken Friedrich that might work for your student. Just go to here:

http://www.cimarronmusic.com/

There are lots of sound samples. If you need a longer .pdf file sample, please let me know.
