My son and his high school buddie have done so well (and had such fun) putting together a Brass Quartet for Christmas they are looking to do the same for the spring.

They want to play jazz, but I am having difficulty finding sheet music for them on the net.

They have a Tuba (of course), T-Bone, Horn, and one (or two) trumpet.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Brassdad, I've always had good luck ordering from Fran and AJ at WindMusicPlus.com Here's a link to the Brass Quartets page.

The instrumentation of two trumpets and two trombones yields the most hits, but of course that only works if the hornist can read trumpet parts (an easy skill to acquire and an important one in my opinion) and if your son can read the trombone parts down an octave.
Good luck and Semper Fi,
Mike

Hi and it's great to hear that there are HS brass players looking toward getting contemporary literature. I play tuba in a quintet and have found several arrangements from: http://www.trumpetunes.com/publications.html and http://www.freehandmusic.com/Search.asp ... ss+quintet.
Both of these publications feature .pdf file purchase of many of their products at good quality, modest cost and instant download to your computer. The quintet medium I find to be more useful than quartet as it splits the high part which gives trumpet players some relief without sacrificing quality. I see your son's group has two trumpets at times.
Keep up the good work!
