Im auditioning for the Glenn Gould School this year and have picked most my audition material and just wanted opinions and tips.

Orchestra Excerpts
Bruckner 7
Prok 5
Mahler 1
Petrouchka
Hungarian March

Solo
1st movement of the Gregson

Etude
Rochut (haven't decided which one yet)

Tips? Suggestions?

Sasha Johnson visits here every once in a while, I think. He might be the best one to ask seeing as he'll most probably be your instructor. Also, you can probably contact him through the RCM website.

Thanks for the welcome and the tips. Im not sure I'd do the Gregson on my CC, it works really nicely on my F. I have the YFB-822 and it plays just like my CC and I've already worked it up on my F so yeah. Thanks though! I appreciate it!

I have been in touch with Sasha for about the last month asking him questions, clarifying stuff and such. He seems like a really nice guy. Im looking forward to (hopefully) working with him in the coming years!
