The music is an arrangement of A Mighty Fortress Is Our God which is the first part of the J.S. Bach's Cantata BWV 80 "Ein Feste Burg ist Unser Gott"

Looks like the ELCA is planning to revive this series for broadcast.

Let's give Bach the credit he deserves, but that chorale is much older.

Luther set the words for it 2 centuries earlier.

This show also had the "Dresden amen" which Wagner used in Parsifal. The music really gave the cartoon a religious atomsphere. John
